Swechha for little Birds

Swechha For Little Birds (SFLB) is focused on imparting knowledge about safe touch versus unsafe touch, exploitation, and the POCSO Act to children aged 6 to 12 years old (Grade 1 to Grade 7). 

Through engaging classroom awareness sessions in government primary and upper primary schools, SFLB addresses critical issues related to child safety, fostering an environment where children can understand and protect themselves from potential harm.

Classroom-Based Awareness Sessions:
Conduct interactive sessions directly in government primary and upper primary school classrooms, using age-appropriate materials and engaging activities, role plays to teach children about personal safety.

Hands-On Activities:
Organize practical exercises that help children understand the concepts of safe touch, unsafe touch, and personal boundaries through age-appropriate and sensitive activities.
Interactive Q&A Sessions:
Create a safe space for children to ask questions, ensuring they feel comfortable discussing sensitive topics and addressing any concerns they may have.

Distribution of Educational Materials:
Provide children with informative materials that reinforce the concepts discussed during the sessions, promoting continued awareness and understanding.

Capacity Building:
Enhance the skills of teachers and school staff through targeted workshops, ensuring the sustained impact of SFLB within the school community.
