Kakinada Sea Ports Limited (KSPL)

PCT has been in collaboration with PCT since 2022. Kakinada Sea Ports Limited (KSPL) has emerged as a key player in maritime excellence, overseeing the operations of Kakinada Deep Water Port since its privatization in 1999. Commissioned by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1997, the port expanded to 2,500 metres of quay length a decade later, accommodating diverse cargoes, including agricultural products, minerals, coal, and fertilisers. Situated strategically amid East and West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, and Telangana, KSPL plays a vital role in regional trade.
PCT’s Program Swechha for Little Birds (SFLB) is an initiative dedicated to creating awareness about child sexual abuse and providing children with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect themselves. Through age-appropriate education and engaging activities, the program aims to empower children and ensure their safety and well-being.
Under the SFLB program, Kakinada Sea Ports Limited agreed to financially support PCT to reach out to 75,000 children across the Kakinada District in the coming 2-3 years. So far we have reached 2060 children, across 26 schools, under the Swecha For Little Birds program.
Since 2023, the Kakinada Sea Ports Limited has generously donated Rs. 15,00,000/- towards the program Swecha For Little Birds (SFLB). Here are the details of the year-wise donations received from the KSPL.
