Karuturi Foundation (Scholarships)

PCT and the Karuturi Foundation have been in collaboration since 2021. In the spirit of generosity, the Karuturi Foundation, led by its founder Karuturi Chakaravarthi, a dedicated doctor and member of the Rangaraya Medical College Association of North America, has emerged as a beacon of support for Padala Charitable Trust (PCT). Residing in North America, Dr Chakaravarthi learned about PCT's impactful activities and took a heartfelt initiative to adopt deserving students in and around his native places, Anakampalem and Ryali. The Karuturi family, known for their passion for charity and most members being esteemed doctors, united under a common cause, further extending the circle of compassion. Their noble contributions stand as a testament to the transformative impact of individuals coming together for the betterment of the community.
Karuturi Foundation started supporting 50 students from 2 schools Ankampalem and Ryali in Konaseema District of Andhra Pradesh under PCT’s Vaaradhi Program. Vaaradhi empowers single-parent and no-parent children in rural and urban government schools, providing comprehensive care for their education, well-being, and emotional needs. We are their champions, advocates, and family, supporting them through every challenge and triumph. Through this programme, we ensure that students have the academic support, medical support, emotional support and higher educational support.
Furthermore, the Karuturi Foundation is crucial in assisting PCT's scholarship program, Program Unnathi, offering support to academically talented students. Their involvement commenced with the sponsorship of four students from diverse educational backgrounds. The Karuturi Foundation's dedication to educational empowerment aligns seamlessly with PCT's mission to make a positive difference in the lives of deserving students. We express sincere appreciation for their continuous contributions, significantly impacting the lives of these children.
