- Won Gold Medals in General Medicine (Gynaecology) at Sri Venkateswara University.
- Currently working as Associate Professor Department of General Surgery at Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada.
- Associated Member board for Padala Charitable Trust since 2016 mentoring several projects including Swechha.
- Dr. Sailaja is person who always dreams about complete physical and mental well being to be the highest priority of every human being.
- She always enjoys writing stories and columns in several publications and eMagazines.
- Authored SWECHHA handbook two consecutive editions in Telugu and One edition in English. 5 Books including poetry and short stories in Telugu, 1 book in English.
- Panel Doctor for PCT Staff and Students.
- Conducted camps for students of Maharshi Sambamurthy school, Prajavidyalayam and other village schools nearby Kakinada.
- Participated in SWECHHA RUN.
- Participant and one of the sponsorers of Kriya Merit awards held at Kakinada yearly.
- Conducted awareness camps for menstrual hygiene, Cancer screening, anemia etc. Adopted and added basic amentities for ZP highschool, near MNR college.
- Always ready to spread awareness regarding physical and mental health.
