PCT’s COLLEGE OF EXCELLENCE (COE) Program at Government Junior College, Yeleswaram
Padala charitable trust (PCT) continues to educate and empower the college students as part of COE program.
200+ students from various courses of Intermediate were addressed on the following programs as part of the basic awareness:
Adolescent Health Education which includes Menstrual Hygiene Management, Reproductive Health, Gender Sensitizaion, Child Sexual Abuse, Early Pregnancy, POCSO Act, Marriage Readiness Index
Life Skills - Self Awareness, Empathy, Interpersonal Relationships, Emotional Intelligence
The students participated well in these sessions and now realized the importance of being educated on these important topics.
Right awareness at right age in a right way makes all the difference and it is the core belief of PCT. Today’s younger generation needs exactly this to stay safe, make informed decisions and to live their lives to the fullest.
PCT has well crafted and age appropriate modules to bring awareness on several important gaps in our education system. We do have TOT modules as well to train other CSOs, teachers, school leaders and parents.
