As part of 100% Child Safety District Kakinada Project on 7/11/2024, Awareness is done on Personal Safety Education, Child Sexual Abuse, POCSO Act and the Importance of Parenting to the working women of Coastal Aqua Plant near Nadakuduru with the help of Labour Department, Kakinada, Thanks to Commissioner Bulli Rani garu and assistant commissioners Sneha and Padmavathi garu.
Through this Session, Padala Charitable Trust gave the Awareness on Personal safety education which empowers individuals to take control of their own safety, fosters self-confidence, and encourages a proactive approach to handling potential dangers.
Knowing the correct names of private body parts and understanding their importance is a powerful step in personal safety education for children to protect themselves and seek help if needed. When children are taught that their bodies are to be respected and that they have a right to feel safe, they grow up with a strong sense of self-worth and security.
Live examples and case studies were demonstrated to the audience.
Along with these activities, we performed a Chutki-Joy skit. Through this skit, we conveyed the importance of the Child line number 1098 and made it clear to them that if their children ever face unsafe touch; it is never the child's fault.
The session on personal safety was highly impactful to their children, resonating strongly with the participants, especially the women.
Thanks to the Labour Department and Kakinada District Administration again for coming forward big on Child Safety especially on Child Sexual Abuse and POCSO Act.
